United States President’s Lifetime Achievement Award events

The United States President’s Lifetime Achievement Award is a citizens' award and is for those who contribute more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime.

Along with the ultimate honor of presidential recognition, recipients will receive a personalized certificate, an official pin, medallion, and a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States. Multiple organizations and entities, known as authorized certifying organizations, are trained and have the privilege of highlighting people in their community with this honor. The civil honor was established by the executive order by George W. Bush, the award was established to honor volunteers that give hundreds of hours per year helping others.
